Refund policy
If Notepik is not right for you, ask for your money back within 14 days and we will return it. No form, no reason required.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
The short version
- 14 days, money back. Email us within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, or within 14 days of an upgrade, and we refund it in full
- No reason needed. You do not have to justify it, and we do not ask you to sit through a retention call
- You can always try before paying. The free plan needs no card, so you can record real meetings and read real summaries before any money changes hands
- Cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for
How to request a refund
Write to support@notepik.com from the email address on the account, or use the contact form, and tell us the workspace name. That is the whole process. A person reads it, and you will hear back within one working day.
We send the money back to the card or account you paid with, because that is the only route our payment providers offer. Once we approve it, expect it to appear within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank. We do not charge a processing fee, and we do not keep part of the payment.
Monthly and annual plans
Plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. The 14 day window applies to the payment that started your subscription and to any upgrade you make later, counted from the day the payment was taken.
Renewals are outside the window. After the first 14 days, cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the period you are in, and we do not refund a part month or part year. You keep full access until that period ends, so nothing is cut short.
Two exceptions where we refund a renewal anyway, because it would be unreasonable not to:
- You were charged for a renewal you had already cancelled, or charged twice for the same period. That is our error and we fix it in full
- A fault on our side stopped you using the service for a meaningful part of the period. Tell us what happened and we will refund the affected time
Lifetime deals
A lifetime plan bought directly from us gets the same 14 day window as any other plan, counted from the day of purchase.
A code bought on a deal marketplace is refunded by that marketplace, because that is who took your payment. If you bought a Notepik code on AppSumo, their 60 day refund policy applies and the request goes to AppSumo, not to us. When they tell us a code was refunded we revoke it, so it cannot be redeemed afterwards. If you have already redeemed a refunded code, the workspace returns to the free plan and your meetings stay where they are.
Usage and included hours
Included hours reset every month and unused hours do not carry over or convert to credit, so there is nothing to refund on hours you did not use. You are never billed for overage you did not choose: exceed the included hours and processing pauses until the next period or until you upgrade, rather than running up a bill.
When we will not refund
- Requests made more than 14 days after the payment, unless one of the two exceptions above applies
- Accounts we suspended or closed for a breach of the terms, including recording people without the permission you are responsible for having
- Dissatisfaction with how accurate a machine-generated summary was, where you have used the service for months. The output is a first draft and we say so before you buy. Inside the 14 day window this is exactly what the window is for
If you disagree with a decision, reply and say so. We would rather settle it by email than have you raise a chargeback, and in practice we would rather refund you than argue.
Your statutory rights
Webmatia Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Nothing on this page reduces any right you have under consumer law, including the UK statutory cancellation rights that apply to consumers buying online. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
Changes to this policy
We can update this page, and the version in force is the one published when you paid. A change that makes the policy less generous will not be applied retroactively to a payment you have already made. Related reading: the terms of service and the plans and prices.
