Notepik for Zoom

An AI notetaker for your Zoom meetings

Paste a Zoom link, or let your calendar do it, and the Notepik Notetaker joins the call. A few minutes after it ends, your team has the summary, the decisions and the action items, with every line of the transcript searchable.

Three ways to capture the call

Paste the Zoom link

Any zoom.us meeting link works, including personal meeting room links and links that carry a passcode. Start the meeting, paste the link, and the Notetaker joins.

Let your calendar send it

Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and choose which meetings to record. Notepik reads the Zoom link from the invitation and joins on time, even when the meeting moves.

Record a Zoom tab with no bot

Running Zoom in your browser? Notepik for Chrome records the tab's sound and your microphone with no bot in the call. The Zoom desktop app is not covered.

What you get after every call

A summary worth reading

What was discussed, in a few paragraphs, in the language the meeting was held in.

The decisions, listed

What was agreed, so nobody has to reconstruct it from memory a week later.

Action items with owners

Each task with a suggested owner and due date, ready to assign, tick off or push to Slack, Asana, Trello, ClickUp or HubSpot.

A searchable transcript

Every line with its speaker and timestamp. Click a line to play the recording from that moment.

Answers across meetings

Ask a question in plain language across past meetings and get an answer that cites the meeting and the moment.

A link to share

Send the write-up to someone without an account, with or without the transcript.

Good to know about Zoom

Speakers by name
With the bot in the call, each line of the transcript carries the speaker's name from the participant list.
Waiting rooms and passcodes
The passcode in the link is kept, so the Notetaker can join. If the meeting has a waiting room, admit it like any guest.
Nothing to install
Nobody on the call installs anything, and the host does not need a Zoom app or an admin to approve anything.

Visible, by design

The Notetaker joins as a named participant, so everyone on the call can see that the meeting is being recorded. Recording laws differ by country and state; our consent page explains when you need to tell people and how.

Questions

Does the Zoom host need to install anything?
No. The Notetaker joins from the meeting link like any other participant. Nobody on the call needs an app or an extension.
Can Notepik record Zoom without a bot?
Yes, when Zoom runs in a Chrome tab: Notepik for Chrome records the tab with no bot. Speakers then appear as Speaker A, Speaker B and so on, and the Zoom desktop app is not covered.
Does it work with Zoom passcodes and personal meeting rooms?
Yes. Links with a passcode and personal meeting room links both work. If a waiting room is on, someone admits the Notetaker.
How soon are the notes ready?
A few minutes after the call ends. Notepik does not show live captions during the call.

Try it on your next call
