Notepik for Microsoft Teams

An AI notetaker for Microsoft Teams

Paste a Teams meeting link, or connect Outlook, and the Notepik Notetaker joins the call. Your team gets the summary, the decisions and the action items a few minutes after it ends, with no Teams app to approve.

Three ways to capture the call

Paste the Teams link

Work and school meeting links and personal Teams links both work. Paste the link and the Notetaker joins as a guest.

Let Outlook send it

Connect your Microsoft calendar and choose which meetings to record. Notepik reads the Teams link from the invitation and joins on time.

Record Teams in the browser

Running Teams in a browser tab? Notepik for Chrome records it with no bot. The Teams desktop app is not covered.

What you get after every call

A summary worth reading

What was discussed, in a few paragraphs, in the language the meeting was held in.

The decisions, listed

What was agreed, so nobody has to reconstruct it from memory a week later.

Action items with owners

Each task with a suggested owner and due date, ready to assign, tick off or push to Slack, Asana, Trello, ClickUp or HubSpot.

A searchable transcript

Every line with its speaker and timestamp. Click a line to play the recording from that moment.

Answers across meetings

Ask a question in plain language across past meetings and get an answer that cites the meeting and the moment.

A link to share

Send the write-up to someone without an account, with or without the transcript.

Good to know about Teams

Guests must be allowed
The Notetaker joins as a guest. If your organisation's Teams settings stop guests from joining meetings, it cannot join, and an admin would need to allow it.
The lobby
If the meeting has a lobby, someone admits the Notetaker like any other guest.
No Teams app to install
Nothing is added to your Microsoft 365 tenant, and nobody on the call installs anything.

Visible, by design

The Notetaker joins as a named participant, so everyone on the call can see that the meeting is being recorded. Recording laws differ by country and state; our consent page explains when you need to tell people and how.

Questions

Does Notepik need a Teams app or admin approval?
No app is installed. The Notetaker joins as a guest, so the only thing that matters is whether your organisation lets guests join meetings.
Does it work with personal Teams accounts?
Yes. Links from teams.live.com work as well as work and school meeting links.
Can it record the Teams desktop app?
The bot records the meeting whichever app people use. The Chrome extension's bot-free recording only covers Teams running in a browser tab.
Where do the action items go?
They stay in Notepik with an owner and due date, and can be pushed to Slack, Asana, Trello, ClickUp or HubSpot on paid plans.

Try it on your next call
